Antique finish

Seminars on traditional ancient finishing level 1

Duration: A 6 hour block intensive seminar.  The seminar will start at 9:00 a.m. Introduce yourself 15 minutes in advance.

When: Available during the week, day schedule, from September to June (please refer to schedule for availability).

Course Outline: Several techniques will be explained and clearly demonstrated in a practical and theoretical manner using samples as well as with a manual that you will be able to keep.  In addition, every aspect of milk paint use and antique finish techniques will be covered.

Cost: 135,00 $, manual and hardware included (a non refundable 65,00 $ is required upon registration). Taxes are not included.

The seminar contains an update on forgotten workshop tips, tricks described step by step as well as recipes to obtain antique finish as we can find on real antique furniture  . Together, we will, create a patina through milk paints , pigments and home brand stains,  Livos natural oil varnish , protective shellac, the arabic gum crackling method  and craft waxes. Our tips will be explained and clearly demonstrated in a practical and theoretical manner on a pine console size 10''x 12''. A comprehensive manual of 47 pages will assist you!
