Antique finish practical workshop

Level 2

Duration: A 5 hour block workshop on antique finish application techniques. To start at 10h00 and  finish around 16h00.  You presence is required 15 minutes before the workshop starting time.

When: Every Wednesdays, day schedule, from September to June ( Please refer to schedule for availability). ( Please refer to schedule for availability).

Goals:  Accompanied by us, you will complete a decorative piece of solid wood.  During this workshop, you will be assisted and led to perfect your knowledge to ameliorate your technical skills and different finishing products application.  You are to choose in advance the subject of your project:  A door or a massive pharmacy cabinet.

Cost:  $ 250.00 - $ 275.00, depending on the piece chosen, all hardware included. (Workshop is required to be paid in full at registration). Taxes are not included.

You will transform a piece of wood to create a genuine look of the past. This includes also preparing your paint and everything needed for the finish of your piece of ornamental sculpture.

The student will develop different techniques to gain autonomy as well as know every finishing steps of an antique finish depending on the chosen project to complete.

Different techniques will be practiced by the student in order to attain autonomy in using either milk paint or antique finishes.
