Ornemental carving workshop

Duration: Assisted workshops by master  sculptor Mr Richard Thibault for a training of 21 hours spread  in 7 blocks of 3 hours each on ornamental carving.

When: Monday and Tuesday evening at 18:30 till 21:30.

Objective: This ornamental carving workshop will enable the student to develop his passion and to gain autonomy in ornamental carving .  All this in a peaceful environment.  Three levels are available depending on your progress level.

Cost: 280,00 $ wood and tools included (a non refundable deposit of 140,00 $ is required upon registration).  Taxes are not included.

Master cabinetmaker and sculptor, Mr Richard designe and perfor pieces for the atelier.

During your development you will learn the interaction between tools and wood fiber, the different stages of a project, safety, chisels maintenance and sharpening. A practice spread over seven weeks will allow you to overcome difficulties and will give you the necessary autonomy to realize your own projects.

We are now in the process of establishing student groups. workshop are thursday night at 18:30 till 21:30. Please drop by any Thursday night  to meet  the other members.
